And so approaches another birthday. Another day to celebrate my entrance onto GGE (The Big Guy's Green Earth).... right? WRONG!
While surprises aren't really "my thing" I wouldn't mind doing something a little different this year. I mean, what HAVE I done each year? I haven't had a party thrown for me since I was like, 7! (Sad, I know).
This Birthday has really got me thinking, have I TRULY lived my life? Have I done the unthinkable, and done enough
things without thinking? Haven't I learned anything from Shahrukh Khan in Kal Ho Na Ho ( Tomorrow May Never Come ) ?
This year I don't wanna jam to the Birthday Blues, I wanna rock out to like some Lady Gaga =P I just want to be able to have ONE crazy. special. memorable. birthday. because who knows, this birthday could be my last... or just one more step up the ladder/ milestones of life.
anyways aside from all that ^ .............
I've been following tutorials for heat free styles. Perfect for over processed hair, or VIRGIN hair. Considering mine has been colored one too many times (Cough. Since 15. crazy, I know) I've come across: Sock Waves and Paper Bag Curls. Call me crazy but I've hidden the blow dryer, straightner, and broke out the socks AND paper bags. & Actually it didn't turn out half bad (after adding mousse* of course). But from the looks of it, I won't be throwing out my styling tools anytime-too soon ;) Final Verdict: 3.5 stars. Downside: you're stuck inside all day, face little humiliation from other siblings (if any) lol. Takes a while, I'm talking hours (esp if you have long hair like mine) to dry. Upsides: Set it and Forget it! No heat damage. Something new to try. Recycled brown paper bags, and socks.. I'd say we're being eco-friendly here people :)
